Know who you’re talking to
The first rule of communication is ‘know your audience’ so that you can frame your sentences in that manner. Knowing your audience includes everything from the language and what kinds of stories you tell to communicate a point to a particular person.
Body language transmits how you are feeling, and it also communicates to others whether you are angry, over-confident, or emotional.
Maintain eye contact
One should always make eye contact when they an interacting with someone because it builds credibility and demonstrates you care about your listeners.
Engage your listeners
Ask questions and invite opinions of others as well because it shows that you are also taking them a part of the conversation.
Develop your listening skills
To become the best communicator, you should also be the best listener too. Listen to what others are saying and value their point and don’t be distracted by thinking about what you want to say next.
