Here we bring you an interesting chat of the High-Tea session conducted by TimesJobs on ‘Career in BFSI: Outlook and opportunities’, discover how you can strengthen your career in this field.
In a chat session, Rashmi Nagori, Chief Human Resources Officer, Edelweiss Wealth Management said, “BFSI is a customer centric business and hence to make your mark in this space one needs to have client centricity, financial expertise and technology orientation to be able to dominate the future.”
On being asked about the skills to spark off fresh job opportunities in BFSI Sector for graduates, Rashmi said, “For fresh off campus talent, we continue to look for passion, execution excellence and proactiveness. Your jest to do your best is your biggest quality.”
According to Rashmi, banking will remain an evergreen industry as long as people have money to save and invest. Digitisation will alter the face of not only banking but many industries. In my view digitisation will alter the methods not the means. Like a decade back, we would walk into the bank branch for any thing that we needed and now most services are possible over the net banking/ phone banking means. Accordingly, I do expect the experience and methods to change for the better.”
