On being asked about the scope for a fresher in Metallurgy Engineering available in India, George said, “The scope is immense in the field of Metallurgy, both in the corporate sector and also in the field of academics and research. Any Manufacturing industry needs metallurgists and not just the companies involved in the heavy metal industry.”
According to George, if the role and the Manufacturing sector appeals to one’s career aspirations and makes him/her passionate and excited then one must certainly take that option. The key aspects to keep in mind when aspiring for a role in the Manufacturing sector is that there are ample roles available within a Manufacturing organisation, the growth is stable and steady and it will give you a sustainable career option.”
