Global professional services organisation EY announced that it would be hiring about 9,000 professionals in India by 2021. These hires will be from a STEM background in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Analytics, and other emerging technologies.
“We are making bold investments in our organisation mainly in technology, data and through strategic acquisitions while continuing to expand our alliance and ecosystem relationships”, said Rohan Sachdev, Partner and Consulting Practice Leader, EY India.
He added, “Today, our clients, both in government and private businesses, and are embarking on technology-led transformation. We are supporting them in this journey. In the coming years, we are strengthening capabilities in emerging technology roles and significantly intensifying our hiring efforts”.
Over 50,000 people are working in all member firms including global delivery centers in EY in India. Also, EY has a holistic approach to digital transformation and innovation embedded across all its service offerings and sectors.
