HCL Tech to hire 1,000 employees at Nagpur facility

HCL Technologies, one of the top Indian multinational technology companies, is planning to on board 1,000 employees in the upcoming months for its campus near Nagpur. HCL hired net 10,000 employees last year which added to the overall strength of the company by 1.59 lakh as of December 31, 2020.

HCL will hire freshers and experienced candidates, both for these 1000 open positions. The company has a 50-acre campus in MIHAN (Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur) near the winter capital of Maharashtra. The MIHAN campus went operational in April 2018 and currently houses 2,000 employees.

The company expressed its views on creating a global IT development centre at the site. This centre will recruit, train and employ local talent and create a sustainable ecosystem for them.

HCL Nagpur focuses on Engineering and R&D Services (ERS) along with application development and infrastructure management services line of business. The company aims to hire talent from Nagpur to come back to the orange city to pursue a career in ERS, application and infrastructure management services.

In the last four years, the company has hired more than 15,000 employees at centers like in Madurai, Lucknow, Nagpur and Vijayawada. These candidates are now an integral part of HCL Technologies.
