Power Grid is hiring for 35 diploma trainee jobs; here are the details

Powergrid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has rolled out job opportunities for engineers for 35 diploma trainee vacancies. The company is hiring for several locations in Southern Region Transmission System II such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, and Karnataka along with the Raigarh-Pugalur HVDC project.

The interview process contains a computer-based and written test that will help in filtering the profiles of candidates. The candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs 27,500. They will be placed as Junior Engineer Grade VI at S1 Level upon regularisation with a pay scale of Rs 25,000-3%.-Rs 1,17,500.

Who can apply?

The candidates with a background in electrical engineering, power system engineering, electrical & electronics engineering, electrical (power) engineering, and power engineering (electrical) can apply for the job. The candidates with a full-time three-year diploma with a minimum of 70% marks from a recognised university can apply.

The higher technical qualifications like BE, BTech, ME, and MTech without or with diplomas are not eligible for the vacancy.
